Last night I lost a dear friend who has the same heart condition I do. Loosing her has made me even more thankful today that I have my miracle girl Gwendolyn, and that she still has me.
Gwen came early into our lives 5 years ago, the day before Thanksgiving. Her pregnancy was a difficult one and included months and months of bed-rest, but it was worth every agonizing moment. Jeremy and I were asked countless times to terminate our surprise pregnancy. I’m thankful every day for her spunky spirit and the way she completes our little family. She is a bright little girl who is so smart, funny, beautiful and mischievous.
