Sunday, the hardest part of Sunday was saying good bye to Jeremy. He made all his flights and was safely home in Utah by the late afternoon. The weather also turned on us Sunday, it got very windy, brisk and rainy.
The rest of us went to church at the MTC (Missionary Training Center). That was neat, very special. I didn’t understand a lot of what was being said but the Spirit there was so sweet and serene it didn’t matter. I could piece together the gist of what was being said. It was also testimony meeting, so one by one the new Elders and Sisters stood up to express their love for the gospel. It’s a memory I won’t soon forget.
That evening I was struggling with my back so I ended up taking some pain reliever and taking a nap… thus sleeping through the pot luck that everyone else went to.
