Since I do not post regularly here, and I know how everyone wants to know whats going on with me, sarcasm there folks, I decided to join twitter. Seriously, if you want to follow me just click the twitter link in this article, the one that is posted on the side bar, or just click here to add me in a feed. When I have time I will try to post a widget on the sidebar that will update automatically so people do not have to go to a million different sites to see what is going on. So there you go.
Wow, we’ve now had over 50,000 hits. I remember the good old days when I was excited it reached 1,000.
This weekend I have been staying at my grandparents/aunts and house sitting. It’s been so nice to have a quiet place to pretend is my own for a weekend. Jeremy and I sure can’t wait till I’m done with School and we can once again live on our own. Don’t get me wrong. I LOVE living with my family. It’s been a HUGE blessing for us and even with 3 families in one house it’s quite a joy most of the time, but there is something to be said about having your own place. I forget sometimes how quiet I can be when I’m by myself.
JD seems to be doing a lot better today. I told Jeremy last night that if he woke up at all it was his turn to take him, and sure enough JD slept through the night. We were all quite a bit happier this morning after getting a good night sleep!
My aunt and uncle will be home this evening so I’m off to enjoy the solitude for a few more hours while I can.
I have post’s ready for last Sunday and Monday, however my camera battery died so I’m waiting to post them until I can get the pictures off the camera. I just finished up Tuesday (it had a TON of pictures) and so there are posts from last Tuesday-today! YAHOO.
The nurse that comes once a month to see how JD is doing just left. He’s already 15 lbs. 15 oz! He gained almost a full pound in a week and a half. He’s almost grown an inch too. What a cute little monster.
I’d better stop procrastinating and get the cleaning done. I won’t be able to do it after tomorrow.
This is nothing serious like the Primaries for President or anything too important that I would like to win or at least be on the final ballot. Some people may know that I write another sports blog for fun (and as of recently for a little cash from ticket brokers). The voting is for College Football Sports Blog for 2007 and there are many categories to vote on. If you feel inclined vote for me under the category for the Best non-BCS Blog, and just enter my website link which is mwcfootball.wordpress.com maybe I will be on the final ballot. Oh click the picture below to go to the site to vote
I went to the doctor today and the didn’t send me to the hospital to be monitored! If you want to read more about how the appointment went, head over to my pregnancy blog.
Christmas was good for our little family. Saturday afternoon we had my Grandma G’s family lunch. Sunday evening Jeremy’s little brother came to visit. We taught him to play Killer Bunnies and he in turn slaughtered us and won by a landslide. Even Steph was playing weapons on his bunnies, and she’s not usually a fighter. Christmas eve I spent with my parents while Jer worked, poor kid also had to work in the afternoon Christmas day but we had a wonderful morning. It was fun to have it be just the two of us for the first time. Considering that next year we will have Uno it will probably be our last Christmas alone for many years. Around 11am we headed up to Jeremy’s brothers house and had some breakfast and played games till it was time for Jer to head to work. We really had a great time. Once Jeremy went to work I headed down to my Grandparents house to spend time with them and the Bragg’s. I laughed so hard as we sat around and talked. While I wish Jeremy didn’t have to work during the Holidays, I understand. I’ve been there many times. Even with him working we had a great holiday. I will have Jeremy bring the cord up from downstairs tonight so I can get the pictures off the camera. I do have these two pictures I took with my phone, apparently Grandma and Grandpa were tired. I did a lot more over the weekend/holiday then I should have so it’s back to laying down for me.
Just so you all know. Jeremy let me know he has decided to stop blogging on his blog and use this one instead. So instead of just myself blogging it will be both of us, I’m not sure when he will start blogging, but you’ve been warned. ha ha. You will be able to tell who blogged what by looking at the top of each post. Right before the time it will either say wdwbobbie (me) or gulfcoastpolo (Jeremy). In honor of our joint blogging effort I have decided to do two things, make it snow on the blog and give it a new title. The title is where I am requesting your help. WHAT should we call our joint family blog?!?!
I hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas!
I have a lot of catching up to do about the past weekend but it will have to wait till later today. I just wanted to take a minute and tell you all how much I’m not a fan of Blogspot right now.
They used to have it so that you could leave a comment on someone’s page and link your comment to your page even if you weren’t on blogger. WELL NO MORE. You can either log in with your blogger account, leave an anonymous comment or just leave one with your nickname and no link. I say LAME! ALSO every time I tried to open up pictures today from blogger to view them larger it would automatically download it to our computer. What ever happened to it just popping up in another window online for me to view?!
I am not feeling too hot today so that may have something to do with my agrivation, but I just wanted to share! WORDPRESS I LOVE YOU!
According to Jeremy’s post today, I blog too much. My personal favorite was #5 where it mentioned that your family no longer calls you but checks your blog instead. This is my family.
Many of the people on my blog roll are relatives. We’ve all grown accustomed to reading each others blogs and keeping in touch that way. I feel like it’s actually brought us together a bit more than some of us used to be.
I like blogs. I like blogging. That’s it.
Tomorrow I’ll be headed to California for the week. I’ll try to post a bit while I’m out there. Mostly I’ll just be enjoying the time off, if I can make it through the rest of the night till 11pm!!
It was a good weekend. Believe it or not, after I finished that last book I haven’t started a new one! SHOCKER I know.
Yesterday we both had the day off. Time was spent with family. With Art and Steph finalizing their move tomorrow we wanted to spend as much time with them as possible. We went out to lunch with everyone including my Grandmother G. and Grandma and Grandpa C. It was wonderful!!
Today it’s back to working at home for me. It was supposed to be a late night for work but I was able to adjust my shift for 7:30am instead for today and tomorrow!! So no late nights this week for me until Saturday. I’m a bit excited. Can you tell?
Good news about me being home is that once again the blogs will be rolling in. I know some of you are jumping and clapping your little hands right now. You warm my hearts. But please stop so you don’t hurt yourselves!

It’s amazing to me how much I’ve lagged on my blogging since I’ve had training in the office. Don’t worry loyal fans of Bobbie… Training ends this week and starting next Tuesday it’ll be back to work, from home.
Training is going well. It’s actually been really nice to go into the office for the past few weeks. I’ve enjoyed the hours as well, while they are early mornings, I’ve seen Jeremy more in the past two weeks than I have in the past 4 months! AND HE STILL LOVES ME!
I did read yet another book. “The Secret History of the Pink Carnation” by Lauren Willig
It was a quick read. More on the romance side of life than the historical fiction side. It did make me laugh a bit, honestly I would bust out laughing and Jeremy would come ask me what I was laughing at. There were a couple of ‘spicy’ scenes in the book, so I’m warning you now, they were short and it would be easy to jump over them if you wanted to. A little history, a little swashbuckling, a little fun… I have a copy if you want to borrow it. I finished it in just over a day.
On to the next book…..
